In leadership roles, he has developed programs that specifically address security maturity, architecture, and risk in addition to other domains such as Incident Response. His Virtual CISO duties led him to work with regulatory organizations including the SEC, NERC, OEB, and more. He unleashes his passion for the security community by leading a local security group (#misec), organizing B-Sides & Converge Detroit, and mentoring local folks in the industry. Steven has held 25+ industry certifications over his career and enjoys focusing on new challenges to grow and strengthen the organization.
Matt Mcgonigle
Chief Revenue Officer, Antigen Security
Matt has been actively involved in all aspects of the insurance and risk management industries since the late 1990s. He has negotiated and amassed over 750 insurance carrier relationships with a network of tens of thousands of insurance brokers. Prior to joining Antigen Security, He founded one of the largest insurance wholesales brokerage companies in the United States, and developed technology and risk management solutions in use by some of the country's leading institutions.
He continues to work vigorously to lead the creation of risk management solutions that actively reduce and prevent risk. This culmination of proactive and preventive risk management aligned with insurance underwriting truly sets these solutions apart. Matt holds various licenses and certifications across the insurtech and fintech industries, and has created many certifications and related programs for banks, broker dealers and other institutions.
