Dr. Rebecca Homkes is a high-growth strategy specialist with the London Business School’s Dept of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, an Educator at Duke Corporate Education, and a previous Fellow at the London School of Economics’ Centre for Economic Performance. With her boutique consultancy, she advises CEOs and executive teams of top global companies and fast-growing enterprises on developing and executing growth strategies through extreme uncertainty.
Homkes is the director of the global Active Learning Programme for the Young President’s Organization; a partner with GrowthX, a Silicon Valley investment ecosystem and innovation consultancy; and is the faculty lead of two large Fintech scaling and accelerators. A global keynote speaker, she is a member of several advisory boards, directed the joint McKinsey & Co and LSE Centre for Economic Performance Global Management Project since 2007 and has written for publications such as the Harvard Business Review, Businessweek, Fortune, and Forbes.
A Marshall Scholar, she received her Ph.D. and MSc from the LSE in International Economy.
Before LSE, Homkes received two degrees at Indiana University: BS (Honors) in business administration and a BA (Honors) in Political Science. She was a Wells Scholar and graduated as the school’s top graduate in 2005 and its sole Herman Wells Scholar.
She previously served as a Fellow at the White House’s President’s Council of Economic Advisors and has worked in strategy consulting with Bain & Co.

Mr. McCarroll is the Global Director of Sustainability for Univar Solutions. In this role, he leads the business’ sustainability team and drives the strategy to achieve our global sustainability goals, aligning our ambition and actions across regions on the business’ climate action, resource use reduction and supply chain sustainability. He joined Univar in January 2017, serving as the Sustainability Manager in a global capacity before his promotion into his current role as Global Director of Sustainability.
From 2014- 2016, Mr. McCarroll held the title of Global Sustainability Officer at Innovation Group, a major service provider to the insurance industry. Prior to joining Univar, Mr. McCarroll held roles in the renewable energy supply chain.
Mr. McCarroll holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in environmental management from the University of Northumbria, a master’s degree in environment, health and safety from the University of Sunderland and is currently progressing in doctoral studies on sustainability in organizational culture.

Dan Connors is the CEO of and Co-Founder of Green Impact and an Accredited Net Zero Cloud Professional. He is an accomplished IT executive and team leader with over 15 years of consulting engagement experience. Dan has led large scale implementations across various platforms at enterprise organizations such as GE Capital, Ogilvy & Mather, ThermoFisher Scientific and Peoples Gas. Dan helped co-found Green Impact because he wanted to put his Salesforce team’s skills to best use for his customers and the planet.

Phillip Rice is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and vice president of facilities operations for Thales Defense & Security, Inc. (TDSI). As CIO, Mr. Rice is responsible for all information technology activities, including strategic and technical leadership of network and development operations, cybersecurity, application development, and client services. He also oversees facilities operations and long-range planning for real estate assessment; construction and lease; building automation; energy management; Health, Safety and Environment (HSE); and environmental sustainability initiatives.
Mr. Rice is the technical and compliance advisor to TDSI's Government Security Committee, and a subject matter expert for industry best practices for the protection of national security information, including National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) special publications, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), and Foreign Ownership Control or Influence (FOCI) governance.
Mr. Rice joined TDSI (then Racal Communications, Inc.) in 1994 and continues to lead enterprise improvement projects to ensure TDSI's industry leadership in modern and secure information systems.
